Meet and greet by your safari guide in Arusha where you’ll enjoy lunch before you start your official East Africa Safari. Departing in a 4 x 4 vehicle with your safari guide to Lake Manyara National Park. Driving through the village of Mto wa Mbu (Maasai for Mosquito Creek) with the spectacular rift wall of Lake Manyara behind it. Enjoy an afternoon of game driving in Lake Manyara National Park with its tree-climbing lions. Overnight at the Kirurumu Tented Lodge.
Lake Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast you’ll return to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Enjoy lunch at the Lodge before departing though the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive in the Serengeti. The vast herds, endless landscapes and the ageless rhythms of life will astonish you. Overnight at our private campsite.

Take pleasure in flying in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti as the dawn breaks. As you soar, you have ample opportunity to view the winding rivers and herds of animals below. Your balloon will set down on the savanna, where you will be served with champagne and an English breakfast. Enjoy spending another day in the Serengeti with game drives in the morning and afternoon. Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop at the cradle of mankind, the Olduvai Gorge. Arriving at the lush green foothills of the Crater where temperatures are cooler, with lunch served at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Afternoon at leisure or you can arrange with your guide to visit the Maasai’ s at Irkeepus Village to learn about the culture of the Maasai and buy their handcrafts. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you’ll enter the Crater via the Lemala road for a full day’s tour. Enjoying a picnic lunch at the hippo pool near the Mandusi Swamp. Called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Crater boasts a blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that is unsurpassed in Africa. The volcanoes, grasslands, waterfalls and mountain forests are home to an abundance of animals and to the Maasai. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
